RESOLUTION NO. 86- �e
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE BUDGET, MAKING APPROPRIATIONS AND DECLARING THE AD
VALOREM TAX LEVY FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986-87.
WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Tigard for the year beginning July 1,
1986, was duly approved and recommended to the City Council by the regularly
constituted Budget Committee at its meetings of the 26th day of March, 1986,
and the 28th day of May, 1986, after proceedings in accordance with Chapter
294, Oregon Revised Statutes; and
WHEREAS, a su=aryof the budget document as required by Chapter ?4A,L-in
Oregon Revised Statutes, was duly published in the Tigard Times, a newspaper
of general circulation in the City in accordance with Chapter 294.421, Oregon
Revised Statutes; and
WHEREAS, a hearing by the City Council on the budget document as thus approved
and recommended by the Budget Committee, was duly called and held on June 23,
1986 whereat all interested persons were afforded an opportunity to appear and
be heard with respect to the budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1. Hereby adopts the budget for 1986-87 in the total sum of
111,885,500 and now on file at City Hall.
Section 2. The Council adopts and hereby incorporates by reference in this
resolution the following:
0 1984-86 agreement between the City of Tigard and Tigard Police
Officer's Association dated 1/16/84.
0 1986-87 agreement between the City of Tigard and Tigard
Municipal Employee's Association/OPEU dated 11/14/85.
0 1986-87 salary/job classification pay plan for non-union
employees, including a 3% COLA within range.
Section 3. The amount for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1986, and for the
purposes shown below are hereby appropriated as follows:

Section 4. The City Council of the City of Tigard hereby levies the taxes
provided for in the adopted budget in the aggregate amount of $1,992,286, and
that these taxes are hereby leviedupon all taxable property within said
district as of 1:00 a.m., January 1, 1986. The following allocations
constitute the above aggregate levy:
