RESOLUTION NO. 83 - 65
A RESOLUTION FURTHERING AN14EXATION TO THE CITY OF TIGARD OF THE TERRITORY AS
OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT "A" AND DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "B" ATTACHED (BREWER).
WHEREAS, "consents" in the form of a petition have been presented to
® the City of Tigard requesr.ing annexation of certain tracts of land presently
® contiguous to the corporate limits of the City; and
WHEREAS, the consents in the form of a petition were signed by the
owners of said tracts of land; and
WHEREAS, The City of Tigard Council has reviewed the consents and set
the final boundary for the annexation as required by subsection (2) of ORS
222.170; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the setting of the final boundary, the
consents of land contained therein represent 'Snore than half of the owners of
land in the territory, who also own more than half of the land in the
contiguous territory and of real property therein representing more than half
of the assessed value of all real property in the contiguous territory;" and
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation therefore is in accordance with ORS
222.170 and constitutes a so-called "triple majority" annexation under ORS
. 222.170 and a "minor boundary change" under boundary commission law, ORS
199.410 to 199.510.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIGARD, a municipal corporation of the State of Oregon, at a special session
held on the 18th day of July, 1983, that;
Section l: The Council hereby approves the proposed annexation and requests
the Commission to approve it and effect it as soon as possible.
Section 2: The City Recorder is hereby directed to file certified copies of
the statements of consent and of the Resolution with the Portland Metropolitan
Area Local Government Boundary Commission at once.

A tract of land in the northeast oneu
q arter of section 15,
township 2 south, range 1 west of the Willamette Meridian, Wash-
ington County, State of Oregon, more particularly described as
follows;
Beginning at the southeastc_or
net of 1pt 26, "Willnwhrgnk
Farm". a duly recorded subdivision in Washington County, said
point being on the centerline of S.W. 108th Avenue(40 feet wide) ;
thence west along the south line of said lot 26, a distance of
344.35 feet to the northwest corner of that tract of land conveyed
to Dwight and Marisa B_ Brewer on March 13, 1974 in Book 966 at
Page 189 Washington County deed records; thence south a distance
of 379.5 feet to a point on the south line of lot 27 "Willowbrook
Farm", said point being west a dista:.ce of 344.35 feet from the
southeast corner of lot 27; thence east along the said south line
a distance of 344.35 feet to the southeast corner of lot 27; thence
north along the east line of lot 27 a distance of 379.5 feet to
the point of beginning.
Containing 3.00 acres more or less.
