RESOLUTION NO. 83- 5'G
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1984.
WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Tigard for the year beginning July 1,
1983, was duly approved by the regularly constituted Budget Committee at its
meeting of May 19, 1983, after proceedings in accordance with Chapter 294,
Oregon Revised Statutes; and
WHEREAS, a summary of the budget document as required by Chapter 294.416,
Oregon Revised Statutes, was duly published in the Tigard Times, a n_"s aper
of general circulation in the City in accordance with Chapter 294.421, Oregon
Revised Statutes; and
WHEREAS, a hearing by the City Council on the budget document as thus approved
by the Budget Committee was duly called and held on the 4th day of April,
1983, whereat all interested persons were afforded an opportunity Lo appear
and be heard with respect to the budget, and
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by THE 1IGARD CITY COUNCIL THAT:
Section 1: Hereby adopts the budget for 1983-84 in the total sum of
5.592,2]5 and now on file at City Hall.
Section 2: The Council adopts and hereby incorporates by reference in this
resolution the following:
0 1982-83 agreement between the City of Tigard and Tigard
Police Officer's Association dated 1/31/83
0 1983-85 agreement between the City of Tigard and Tigard
Municipal Employee's Assoc iat ion/OPEU dated 6/1/83
0 1983-84 salary/job classification pay plan & comparable
worth chart dated 3/28/83 for non-union employees
Section 3: The City Recorder be, and she is, hereby authorized and directed
to certify a copy of this Resolution together with a copy of the budget
document of the City of Tigard, to the Department of Revenue and Taxation of
Washington County and, further, to file a true copy of the budget of the City
with the Department of Revenue of the State of Oregon, as provided in Chapter
294.555, Oregon Revised Statutes.
