RESOLUTION NO. 83- p
A RESOLUTION INITIATING, ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF TIGARD.
WHEREAS, this matter is before the City of Tigard hereinafter referred to
as Council; and
It appearing that:
1) The Council is authorized by ORS 199.490 (1)(a) to initiate an
annexation upon Resolution of the governing body of the affected city or
district.
2) The annexation to the City of the territory described in the attached
Exhibits "A-F" would constitute a "minor boundary change" under the Boundary
Commission law, ORS 199.415(13); ORS 199.410 to 199.510.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIGARD
AS FOLLOWS:
1) That the Council by this Resolution approves the proposed annexation
with the boundaries described in Exhibits "A-F" and depicted in Exhibit "G"
attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
2) That the City Recorder is hereby directed to file certified a copy of
this Resolution with the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary
Commission at once.
