A RESOLUTION FURTHER CHANGING THE DOWNTOWN COMMITTEE WITH POST CONSUL-
TANT SELECTION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

WHEREAS, Resolution 80-46 of June 9, 1980 was approved which
created the Downtown Tigard Committee; and

WHEREAS, this Committee carried-out its original charge culminating i
in the selection of Danielson, Driscoll and Hess Architects of Eugene,
Oregon to produce the documents called for in the Request for Proposal;

r WHEREAS, during this process Resolution 81-42 was approved on April S
27, 1981 increasing the membership of this Committee; and E
r. WHEREAS, it is now deemed necessary to further charge this Committee
with certain responsibilities:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
~' TIGARD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Downtown Tigard Committee shall from this date:

A. Coordinate input from the various :'interest groups" in the area
to aid the consultants.
B. Review routine summary reports as the study progresses and pro-
vide community guidance to the consultants as needed.
C. Provide joint presentation with the consultants and City
Planning Staff to the City Council and local interest groups
r ' to familiarize all parties with all related issues as the
study progresses.
D. Act as liaison with the Planning Commission to anticipate any
.;: possible conflicts with the City's accepted Comprehensive Plan
for the area.

E. Allow the 14 member committee membership to vary vased on
participation and need for special talents and/or representa-
tion. (Subject to. the Council's timely approval.)
F. Have staff support from the Planning Department to help the
zommittee with its administrative responsibilities, etc. ? I
