CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
RESOLUTION RECORDING THE DESIRE OF THE CITY OF TIGARD TO ACQUIRE JURISDICTION OF
A PART OF S.W. 121st. AVENUE NOW WITHIN THE CITY OF TIGARD NOW UNDER JURISDICTION
OF WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON
WHEREAS, pursuant to 373.270 ORS, the City Council of Tigard deems it
necessary, expedient and for the best interests of the City to acquire jurisdiction
over the County read or part thereof set forth on the attached sheets denoted
Exhibits "A" and "B" and by this reference made a part hereof, to enable the City
to exercise jurisdiction with respect thereto to the same extent as it has over
other public streets and alleys of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of Washington County, Oregon, has
heretofore stated its willingness to recommend to the Board of County Commissioners
that jurisdiction of certain County roads with the City of Tigard be relinquished
to the City upon request,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tigard:
(a) "That the City Council of Tigard does hereby record its
determination that it is necessary and expedient and in
the best interest of the City to acquire jurisdiction of the
County road or part thereof now within the City as tabulated
on the attached Exhibit "A" to the same extent as the City
exercises jurisdiction over other public streets or alleys in
the City.
(b) "That request is hereby made to the Board of County Commissioners
of Washington County, Oregon to initiate such proceedings as
required by 373.370 ORS of Tigard of said road or part thereof
as listed on the attached Exhibit "A".
(c) "That in connection with the transfer of said road to the
City of Tigard, that the County Commissioners cause to have
prepared and submitted to the City the following with respect
thereto:
1. Legal description of such road or part thereof.
2. Copies of all engineering plans with respect to the construction
of streets, installation of storm sewers, sanitary sewers and
other public utilities, therein or therealong.
3. Certified copies of all permits, easements or agreements applicable
to or for the use of lands within the right-of-way of said road for
sewers, drains, public utilities or private uses of any kind, in-
eluding mai.^_a,;ance bonds or contracts applicable thereto."

EXHIBIT "A"
That portion of 50 foot wide S.W. 121st Avenue (Wash. Co. Road No. 1992) within
Section 3, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian, Oregon, lying
between the point of intersection of the centerline of said S.W. 121st Avenue
with a Westerly extension of the North boundary line of LOT 30 of LERON HEIGHTS
PLAT NO. 2, a duly recorded plat of record in said Count and a point therein
said centerline of S.W. 121st Avenue which lies South 51 49' East a distance
of 1775.5 feet from the Northwest corner of said Section 3.
