RESOLUTION OF CITY COUNCIL ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF TRIPLE
MAJORITY METROPOLITAA�IQEXATION AREA LO� OVERMIE TCOMMEND FORWARDING
CO MISSIOND
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has received and re-
viewed a petition for annexation of the lands described on
the attached Exhibit "A" to the City; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been processed in
accordance with the procedures established by the Portland
Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Commission; and
4jkmT AS, the petition meets the requirements of
the triple majority annexation statute,
NOirl, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: The Tigard City Council acknow-
ledges receipt of annexation petition as attached hereto
and made a part hereof and recommends it be forwarded to
the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary
Commission for hearing and adoption.

Commencing at the quarter section point on the section line be-
tween sections 11 and 14, Township 2 South, Range 1 West of
Willamette Meridian, Washington County, Oregon; thence East
along said section line 865.3 feet to a point, said point being
the beginning of County Road No. 2076; thence Southerly along
the centerline of said County Road a gistance of 1484.0 feet;
thence East 25.0 feet; thence South 0 01 ' West 495 feet to the
SoBth line of the Solomon Richardson D.L.C. 44; thence South
89 541 East al®ng said D.L.C. line a distance of 359.6 feet;
thence North o o1 ' East 484.6 fee; thence East 734.7 feet; thence
South 1175.0 feet to the North line of the Southeast quarter of
section i4; thence West along said North line 515 feet; thence
South at right angles to said North line 548.8 feet to an iron
pipe; thence continuing South 75 feet more or less to the center
of the Tualatin River; thence upstream in the center of said
river 2800 feet, more or less, to the West line of the Southeast
quarter of siad section 14; thence North 150 feet, more or less,
to the center of said section 14; thence west along the North
line of the Southwest quarter of section 14, 75 feet, more or
less, to the center of the Tualatin River; thence Northwesterly
along said center line of the 'Tualatin River 900 feet, more or
less, to the intersection of the Westerly line as extended
Southerly of that property described in the Warranty Deed to the
City of Tigard from C.H. Slemons and Mary S. Slemons et ux dated
November 23, 1974, recorded in Book 1002 page 863, Washington
County Deed Records; thence North 0°03,4011 East 213.5 feet, more
or less, to the intersection with the South line of the Solomon
Richardson D.L.C.44; thence East along said South line a distance
of 220 feet; thence North 1980 feet to a point on the Section
line between said Sections 11 and 14; thence East along said
Section line 440 feet to the point of beginning.
