RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL, RECOGNITION OF THE LAVA
ENFORCEMENT EXPLORER POST #677 A DIVISION OF BOY PCOUTS OF
AMERICA SPONSORED BY THE CITY OF TIGARD POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Tigard Poli•.e Department is sponsoring
Law Enforcement Explorer Post #677; and
WHEREAS, members of Explorer Post #677 participate with
police department members in training activities from time to
time; and
WHEREAS, members of Explorer Post #677 participate in
volunteer work that is also performed by regular city employees,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED: The Tigard City Council declares
_ it necessary to provide Explorer Post #677 members the necessary
benefits for authorized Exploring activities and volunteer work.
