A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL RECOGNIZING, COMMENDING AND
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE DEVOTED PUBLIC SERVICE OF THOMAS 0.

WHEREAS, Thomas O. Whittaker, Jr, has effectively served t%e
public as a member of the Tigard Planning Commission for 5 years; including
3 years as Chairman of the Planning Commission; and

WHEREAS, Thomas O. Whittaker's dedication to the welfare and
future of the City has been instrumental in causing the City of Tigard to !
become a better place in which to live, work and play; and
i
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council wishes to record and recognize
the many contributions that Thomas Whittaker has made to the City of Tigard
through his unselfish and devoted application of time and talents in behalf
of the City:
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL SOF THE CITY OF TIGARD THAT:
Section 1: The City Council hereby expresses its sincere appreciation to F
Thomas 0. Whittaker, Jr. in behalf of the residents of Tigard {
and the greater Tigard area for his years of devoted service !
toward guiding Tigard's growth and development.
Section 2: A copy of this resolution shall be presented to Thomas 0. 4
Whittaker, Jr. and this resolution shall be spread upon the l
journal of the City as a permanent record of the dedicated f
service of Thomas O. Whittaker, Jr.
