RESOLUTION OF CITY COUNCIL OF TIGARD. OREGON
FOR PURPOSE OF INITIATION OF MINOR BOUNDARY
CHANGE BY ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY
WHEREAS, the lands hereinafter described are contiguous to the
corporate boundaries of Tigard;
WHEREAS, Section 199.490 ORS as amended by Section 14, I
Chapter 462, Oregon Laws 1971, authorizes the governing body of a
city to initiate proceedings for minor boundary changes as in !
Section 199.415 ORS defined; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon finds
that it is consistent with the legislative policy pronouncements of ;
said Chapter 199, Oregon Revised Statutes and in the puolic interest j
that the Metropolitan Boundary Commission be requested t3 conduct
proper proceedings to accomplish the annexation of the following I
described lands of the City of Tigard, and that the boundaries of
the City of Tigard be expanded to include the hereinafter Aescribed: j
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon: t
(1) That proceedings for a boundary change through annexation to
the City of Tigard are hereby initiated pursuant to
Section 199.490 ORS as amended, of the lands described.
As set forth on the attached sheet headed
"EXHIBIT "A"" and by this reference made a part
hereof commonly referred to as Parcel XSI
(2) That the Boundary Commission is hereby requested toforth-
withinitiate and conduct all necessary and proper pro-
ceedings to change the corporate boundaries of the City
of Tigard to include said lands,
(3) That the City Recorder of the City of Tigard is hereby
authorized and directed to forthwith file a certified
copy of this Resolution with the Boundary Commission.

West, Willamette Meridian, Washington County, Oregon, being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 11 of Fruitland Acres,
a subdivision of record in said County; thence West, along the
North boundary line of said Lot 11, a distance of 250.0 feet to
t the Northwest corner of that tract of land conveyed to Oregon
Education Association, Book 553, Page 715, Deed Records of said
County; said Northwest corner of the Oregon Education Association
tract of land being the true point of beginning of this description;
thence running West, along the North boundary line of Lot 11 and
along a Westerly extension thereof, a distance of 349.28 feet to
