RESOLUTION OF CITY COUNCIL OF TIGARD, OREGON
FOR PURPOSE OF INITIATION OF MINOR BOUNDARY
CHANGE BY ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY
WHEREAS, the lands hereinafter described are contiguous to the
f corporate boundaries of Tigard;
l WHEREAS, Section 199.490 ORS as amended by Section 14,
Chapter 462, Oregon Laws 1971, authorizes the governing body of a
city to initiate proceedings for minor boundary changes as in
Section 199.415 ORS defined; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon finds
that it is consistent with the legislative policy pronouncements of
said Chapter 199, Oregon Revised Statutes and in the public interest
that the Metropolitan Boundary Commission be requested to conduct
proper proceedings to accomplish the annexation of the following
described lands of the City of Tigard, and that the boundaries of
the City of Tigard be expanded to include the hereinafter described:
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon:
(1) That proceedings for a boundary change through annexation to
the City of Tigard are hereby initiated pursuant to
Section 199.490 ORS as amended, of the lands described.
As set forth on the attached sheet headed
"EXHIBIT "A"" and by this reference made a part
hereof commonly referred to as Parcel XI
(2) That the Boundary Commission is hereby requested to forth-
with initiate and conduct all necessary and proper pro-
ceedings to change the corporate boundaries of the City
of Tigard to include said lands.
(3) That the City Recorder of the City of Tigard is hereby
authorized and directed to forthwith file a certified
copy of this Resolution with the Boundary Commission.

EXHIBIT "A"
That portion of land in Section 4, Township 2 South, Range 1
West, Willamette Meridian, Washington County, Oregon, being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Section 4; thence
/ South 01 42' 20" West, along the East boundary line of Section
4, a distance of 1566.53 feet to the Southeast corner of Tract
"B" of Bellwood, a subdivision of record in said County; said
Southeast corner of Tract "B" of Bellwood being the true point
of beginning of this description; thence running North 870 26' 00"
West, along the South boundary line of Tract "B" of 3ellwood, a
distance of 466.87 feet to the most Northerly corner of Lot 10
of Bellwood; said most Northerly corner of Lot 10 being a point
on the East boundary line of said subdivision; thence South 010
26' 40" West, along the East boundary line of Bellwood, a distance
of 446.90 feet to the most Southerly Southeast corner of
Bellwood; thence North 870 23' 30" West, along the most Southerly
boundary line of Bellwood, a distance of 462.03 feet to the South-
east corner of Bellwood; thence South 010 57' 20" West, along
a Southerly extension of the West boundary line of Bellwood, a
distance of 20.0 feet to a point on the centerline of 40 foot
wide County Road No. 934 (S.W. Walnut Street); thence Easterly,
along the centerline of said County Road No. 934, to a point of
intersection with the East boundary line of Section 4; thence
Northerly, along the East boundary line of Section 4, to the true
pcint of beginning of this description. Containing approximately
5.04 acres.
