Resolution No. 63-11 R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard has been granted an option
to purchase the former United States National Bank property on
Main Street now occupied by the City of Tigard as a City Hall,
for the price of $16,000.00 and otherwise pursuant to the terms
of said option dated Ar.r11 7-tr �„ 1963; and
WHEREAS, the voters of the City of Tigard have approved a
special levy for the purchase of said property from the Tigard
Development Corporation, and the purchase may, therefore, properly
proceed;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED; That the City Council of the City of
Tigard, Oregon, does hereby exercise the said option according to
its terms, and the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, directed
to give due and legal notice to the Tigard Development Corporation
of the election of the City of Tigard to accept the option; and
the Mayor and the City Attorney be, and they are hereby, author-
i%pd and directed to take such otIm r steps as necessary to com-
sumouate the purchase of said property and the trarafer of title
to the City of Tigard.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED. That pending the availability of
tax..�evenues from the said special levy wherewith to provide for
the purchase price of said property, the sum of $_

under authority of 33 U.S. Code 466 at seq. the City has received
an offer of a grant from the Public Health Service of the United
States Department of Health. Education and Welfare through its
Regional Office at 447 Federal Office Building., San Francisco,
California 94102, in a sum not to exceed $95,630.00, in connection
with the proposed construction of an interceptor, pump station,
sewage treatment plant and outfall sewer? and
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard desires to accept said offer
in strict conformity with its terms and to avail itself of the
assistance thus tendered;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
