January 14, 1987 the Cit
consider the annexation re y Council held a public hearing to

WHEREAS, the Portland Metropolitan Area Local Government Boundary Commission
approved a modified annexation proposal on February 12, 1987; and
WHEREAS, on March 31, 1987 the South Metzgerresidents approved the anr)exati.on
by holding an election; and
WHEREAS, on May 18, 1987 the Cit

WHEREAS, the zone and plan designations recommended by the Planning staff were
those which const closely conformed to the designations

WHEREAS, the City of Tigard Urban Planning

WHEREAS, the Director of the Washington County Department of Land U tt
Transportation by letter dated July 29, 1987 concurred wit. staff's
determination.

Section 1: The recommendation of the Planning staff as set forth below is
fr consistent with provisions contained in Section B.4.d of the
Urban Planning Area Agreement between Washington County and the
City of Tigard dated September- 9, 1986,
