ORDINANCE NO, 85
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL_ AMENDING SECTION 2.08.031 OF THE
TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING 'TO NOTING REQUIREMENTS FOR PLANNING
COMMISSION AND FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE..
WHEREAS, the current language of the Tigard Municipal Code is difficult to
interpret and does not meet with voting procedures as set forth in the x
Robert's Rules of Order.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Section 2..08.031y p
para rah 7. shall be amended as follows -•
Additions are underlined and deletion:: are shown in [brackets]:
"Meetings -•t�uorum - VotSrig. The commission shall meet at least once
in each calendar month. A majority of the members of the commission
shall constitute a quorum. A majority vote of those [voting]
members[, not less than a quorum,] present at an open meeting of the
commission shallbe necessary to legally act on any matter before ..
the commission."
Section 2; This ordinance shall be effective on the `
enactment by the City Council and approval by -the Mayor. 31st day after its
