ORDINANCE NO. 84-
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18.130 (CONDITIONAL USES) OF THE TIGARD
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CODE, ADDING STANDARDS FOR APPROVAL OF TRANSIENT
LODGING; WHOLESALE, STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION; PARTICIPATION SPORTS AND
RECREATION - INDOOR AND OUTDOOR; AND VEHICLE FUEL SALES WITH CONVENIENCE
SALES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. (File No. CPA 6-84)
WHEREAS: During the Comprehensive Plan Hearing process, the Planning
Commission and the City Council included certain use types as
Conditional Use types in various zones; and
WHEREAS: Conditional Use Standards were already in effect for most of the use
type; and
WHEREAS: Four use types are not referenced in the Conditional Use section of
the Code and are listed as 'Conditional Uses in at least one zone.
Those use types are: Transient Lodging/Restaurant (on same parcel);
Wholesale, Storage, and Distribution; Participation Sports and
Pecreation - Indoor and Outdoor; and Vehicle Fuels Sales with
Convenience Sales.
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: Section 18.P0.150 (c) shall be ascended to add as follows:
"23. Transient Lodging/Restaurant (on same parcel)

a. The lot area and dimensional requirements. of the underlying
zoning district shall apply.
b. Additional requirements shall apply as required by the
underlying zoning district.

"24. Wholesale, Storage, and Distribution
a The lot area and dimensional requirements of the underlying
zoning district shall apply.
b. Additional requirements shall apply as required by the
underlying zoning district.
"25. Participation Sports and Recreation
Indoor
Outdoor'
a. The lot area and dimensional requirements of the underlying
zoning district shall apply.
b. Additional requirements shall apply as required by the
underly.L zoning district.
"26. Vehicle Fuel Sales With Convenience Sales
( a. The lot area and dimensional requirements of the underlying
zoning distract shall apply.

Section 2: Inasmuch as it is necessary for the peace, health and safety of
the people of the City of Tigard that this amendment be made with the least
possible delay, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance
shall become effective immediately upon passage by the Council and approval by
the Mayor.
