ORDINANCE N0. 84-�
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING FINDINGS AND UPHOLDING THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S
APPROVAL OF A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP AMENDMENT (CPA 12-84 CUNNINGHAM) AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Tigard Planning Commission approved a Comprehensive Plan
amendment request for the property owned by Lee Cunningham at a. public hearing
on April 3, 1984; and
WHEREAS, The Tigard City Council upheld the decision of the Planning
Commission after considering the comments of the Planning Commission and
individual citizens, and voted to approve the Comprehensive Plan amendment as
proposed and the Zoning District Map amendment as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council adopts finding-3 in this case as follows:
1 The proposed Comprehensive Plan amendment conforms to the
annlirahla nlanning pnl.ieies
2 The proposed use meets the locational criteria
estmbiished in the adopted Comprehensive Plan.
Section 2: The City Council, therefore, upholds the Planning Commission's
approval of the Comprehensive Plan amendment as proposed and set
forth on the attached Exhibit "A" (Map).
Section 3: Inasmuch as it is necessary to revise City Comprehensive Plan
Maps to allow development in a timely manner, an emergency is
declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective upon
its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
