Ordinance No. 84-08 I _ CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON ORDINANCE NO. 84- 09 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING FINDINGS AND UPHOLDING THE PLANNING COMMISSION"S APPROVAL OF A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP AMENDMENT AND ZONING DISTRICT MAP AMENDMENT (CPA 18-83 AND ZC 14-83 KRUEGER) AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Tigard Planning Commission approved a Comprehensive Plan amendment and a Zoning District amendment request for the property owned by Krueger at a public hearing on February 7, 1984; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on February 27, 1984; and WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council upheld the decision of the Planning Commission after considering the comments of the Planning Commission and individual citizens, and voted to approve the Comprehensive Plan amendment as proposed and the Zoning District Map amendment as proposed. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section l: The City Council adopts findings in this case as follows: t 1. The proposed Comprehensive Plan amendment and Zone Change conform to the applicable planning policies. 2. The proposed use meets the locational criteria established in the adopted Comprehensive Plan. Section 2: The City Council, therefore, upholds the Planning Commission's' approval of the Comprehensive Plan amendment and Zoning District Map amendment as proposed and set forth on the attached Exhibit "A" (Map) Section 3: Inasmuch as it is necessary to revise City Comprehensive Plan Maps to allow development in a timely manner, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective upon its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
