ORDINANCE NO. 82
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 81-50 BY EXTENDING THE DATE FOR EXPIRATION
OF THE FIRE PREVENTION CODE WITHIN TUALATIN RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Tigard City Council deems it necessary to extend the period of
timeset by Ordinance No. 81-50 for the expiration of the Fire Prevention Code
within the Tualatin Rural Fire Protection District to January 1, 1984.
Therefore, the Tigard City Council does hereby amend Section 3 of Ordinance
No. 81-50 as follows:
"The provisions ofthis ordinance shall expire 12:01 a.m. on January 1,
1984, unless the Tigard City Council, by ordinance, shall declare
otherwise."
Section 2: Inasmuch as this ordinance is necessary to protect the general
peace, health and safety of the people of the City of Tigard, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage by the Council: and approval by the Mayor.
