AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING TRANSFER TO THE GENERAL FUND OF
THE CITY OF TIGARD THE REMAINING MONIES IN THE BANCROFT #7 & ##9 ACCOUNTS,
FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council finds that all assessment Bancroft Bonds
issued in connection with two improvement districts and termed Bancroft
##7 and Bancroft #9 accounts have been paid and there exists no
outstanding obligations properly payable therefrom.
Section 2: The Council further finds that there is a balance on hand
of 2,359.25 in Bancroft ##7 Account and $44,771.70 in Bancroft ##9 Account
which should be transferred to the General Fund of the City of Tigard.
Section 3: The City Recorder be, and she is hereby, authorized and
directed pursuant to Chapter 294.475 O.R.S. to transfer all funds
remaining in Bancroft #i7 and ##9 accounts in all respects by making the
following transfers.

Section 4: Inasmuch as it is necessary for the peace, health and
safety of the people of the City of Tigard that the accounting procedures
of the City be kept and maintained in current condition at all times and
that all matters be concluded in a timely manner, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective upon its
passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
