AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 80-51 BY CORRECTING THE
AMOUNT FOR WHICH CONSTRUCTION WARRANTS MAY BE ISSUED;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
On the 23rd day of June, 1980 the Tigard City Council
passed Ordinance No. 80-51 concerning the 74th Avenue Sewer
Improvement District. Among other subjects this ordinance set
at $50,600 the amount for which construction warrants could be
issued. It now appears to the City Council that the figure was
too low, and that warrants should be issued for a larger amount,
$62,500.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Tigard does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 80-51 is amended by substituting the
figure $62,500 for the figure $50,600 in Section 5
of Ordinance 80-51.
Section 2. The immediate effectiveness of this ordinance being
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the
City an emergency is declared to exist. This ordin-
ance shall take effect immediately upon its passage
and its signature by the Mayor.
