AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.28, OF THE TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING ITEM
"C" OF SUBSECTION "1" OF SECTION 10.28.090, TO LIMIT PARKING ON A PORTION OF S.W.
COMMERCIAL STREET, AND FIRING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That item "C" of subsection "1" of Section 10.28.090 of the Tigard
Municipal Code, relating to locations where parking is limited to
two hours (except on Sundays and holidays) during specified hours, be, and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"10.28.090 Two hour time limit. No person shall park or leave
standing a vehicle of any kind or character, whether motorized or
not, continuously in excess of two hours, except on Sundays and
holidays, on the following public streets and highways, or portions
thereof, during the hours herein specifically designated:
(1) BETWEEN EIGHT A.M. AND FIVE P.A .:
(C) In that portion of the southwest half of S.W. Commercial Street
extending from a point which lies forty five feet south easterly of the
southeast right-of-way line of SW Main Street to a point one hundred
thirty nine feet southeasterly therefrom," and
"Zn that portion of the southwest half of S.W. Commercial Street extending
from a point which Ilea two hundred forty feet southeasterly of the south-
east right-of-way line of S.W. Main Street to a point six hundred si2LLy
feet southeasterly therefrom."
Section 2: That the City Administrator be and he is hereby authorized and directed
to cause to have the areas in which parking is limited as above set forth
suitably posted in the manner provided by law.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be effective on and after the 31st day after
its passage by the Council, and execution by the City Recorder and the Mayor.
