AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPLEMENTING CHAPTER 10.28, OF THE TIGARD MUNICIPAL
CODE BY ADDING TO SECTION 10.28.090 TO LIMIT PARKING ON A PORTION OF S. W.
TIGARD STREET, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That Section 10.28.090 of the Tigard Municipal Code, relating to

and holidays) during specified hours, be, and the same is
hereby amended and supplemented to add thereto a new subsection
reading as rollows:
10.28.090 Two hour time limit. No person shall park or leave
standing a vehicle of any kind or character, whether motorized
or not, continuously in excess of two hours, except on Sundays
and holidays on the following public streets and highways, or
portions thereof, during the hours herein specifically designated:
(1) BETWEEN EIGHT A.M. AND FIVE P.M.:
( ) In that portion of the southwest half of the right-of-way
of S.W. Tigard Street extending from the southeast right-
of-way line of S.W. Pacific Highway (99-W Overpass) to the
northwest right-of-way line of S.W. Main Street.
Section 2: That the City Administrator be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to cause to have the areas in which parking is limited
as above set forth suitably posted in the manner provided by law.
Section 3: Inasmuch as this parking prohibition is necessary to protect the
health, safety and general welfare of the public an emergency is
recognized to exist and is hereby declared and this ordinance
shall become effective immediately upon passage and approved by
the City Council.
