AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 10.28 OF THE TIGARD
MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING TO SECTION 10.28 TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON

THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Section 10.28 of the Tigard Municipal Code,relating
to locations where parking is prohibited at anytime, be
and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by adding thereto
a new subsection reading as follows:
1110.28 Prohibited at anytime. No person shall at anytime
park or leave standing a vehicle of any kind or character,
whether motorized or not , and whether attended or unat-
tended, upon or within any delineated bicycle and/or
Pedestrian Path(s) or lanes. {{
SECTION 2: That the City Administrator be and he is hereby authorized F
and directed to cause to have the areas in which parking
is prohibited as above set forth suitably posted in the manner pro-
vided by law.
SECTION 3: Inasmuch aF this parking prohibition is necessary to
protect th health, safety and general welfare of the
public and in particular pedestrians and bicyclists on said paths,
an emergency is recognized to exist and is hereby declared and this
ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval t'
by the City Council. f"f
