ORDINANCE No. 77--�T—
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING TRANSFER TO THE GENERAL FUND OF
THE CITY OF TIGARD OF BALANCE REMAINING IN THE STREET IMPROVEMENT
BANCROFT #4 ACCOUNT: FIRING EFFECTIVE DATE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council finds that all street assessment Bancroft
Bonds issued in connection with a certain street improvement
district and termed "Bancroft #4 Account" have been paid and there exists
no outstanding obligations properly payable therefrom.
Section 2: The Council further finds that there is a balance on hand of
$2,413.67, which should properly be transferred to the general
fund of the City of Tigard.
s; Section 3: The City Recorder be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed
pursuant to Chapter 294,475 O.R.S. to transfer all funds
remaining in "Bancroft #4 Account" to the general fund of the City and
to close the said "Bancroft #4 Account? in all respects.
Section 4: Inasmuch as it necessary for the peace, health and safety of
A" the people of the City of Tigard that the accounting procedures
of the City be kept and maintained in current condition at all times and
that all matters be timely concluded, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordirnnce shall become effective upon its passage by the
Councii and approval by the Mayor.
