ORDINANCE No. 76 -
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 70-32 ENTITLED "CITY OF TIGARD
ZONING ORDINANCE OF 197011, AS AMENDED, AND AS CODIFIED IN TITLE 18
OF THE TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE, BY ADDING A NEW CODIFIED SECTION,
DESIGNATED 18.20.035, ESTABLISHING A NEW ZONE CLASSIFICATION R-10,
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council finds that pursuant to Chapter 227 ORS
and Ordinance No. 70-32 - "City of Tigard Zoning Ordinance
of 1970" - the hereinafter stated amendments to said zoning ordinance,
after due and legal notice, were submitted to public hearing by the
City Planning Commission on April 6, 1976, and to the Council there-
after recommended that said zoning ordinance be amended as herein-
after set forth.
Section 2: The Council further finds that, after due and legal notice,
a public hearing was held by the City Council on May 10,
1976, whereat all interested persons were afforded an opportunity to
be heard with respect thereto, and conditions precedent fulfilled
with respect to the following amendments to the City's zoning ordin-
ance.
Section 3: The Council further finds that the purpose for these
amendments is to protect the public health, safety and
general welfare and, furthermore, said amendments serve to implement
the City's objectives and policies concerning residential development
as stated in the Tigard Community_ Plan and Neig]lborhood Plan Number
Three.
Section 4: That Chapter 18.20, Single Family Residential Zones,
(R-7, R-15, R-30) be amended to read as follows:

The following sections shall be amended to include the R-10 zone:
Section 18.20.010 Permitted Uses. In an R-7, 1-109 R-15,
R-30 zone.
Section 18.20.020 Conditional Uses. In an R-7, R-10, R-15,
R-30 zone.
A new section shall be created to reflect the lot area and maximum
coverage.
18.20.035 Lot

Section 18.20.060 Setback. Shall be amended to read:
