AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 15 of the pROCEDURES

ORDINANCE OF 1972" (Ord.r72-29)

ALLOWANCE FOR REPRESENTING INDIGENT DEFENDANTS.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
lection 1: That subsection (6) of Section 1.5 cif the "Court Proced-
ures Ordinance of 1972 (Ord./172-29) enacted by the City
and the same is hereby amended to
Council on March 27, 1972, be,
read as follows:
+1(6) Counsel appointed pursuant to subsection (3) of
this section shall, after the court so orders, be paid
fees by the City for the services rendered in conduct- j
ing the defense, as follows:
a. When a plea of guilty is entered prior
450.00
to trial on merits
b. When a plea of not guilty is entered
and adversary trial on the merits is conducted 450.00
c. When defendant is charged with more
than one offense for which jail sentence may
be imposed and defendant is tried on all $50.00
charges concurrently
d. After an appeal and trial on the 450.00 "
merits is had in the Circuit Court
Section 2: This ordinance shall be effective on and after theb31st
day after its passage by the Council and approval
the Mayor.
PASSED: By unanimous vote of all Council members present after
being read three times by number and titJc only,
