"�'HE, CI`f`I OF rl'TGARD ORDAINS AS :`OLLO49S Section l: The City Council finds that the present, or future operation o adult bocktores or adult movie house or theater or o';:nner businesses engaged in similar activities which offer to furnish obscene materials, obscene displays or abscene performances, as defined by 5167.060 ORS, and which :invite the general public to the business premises for the purposes of furnishing such materials or services, now impose or will :impose upon the City increased administrative burdens and expense incident to enforcement of the prohibitions of ; 5167.065, 167.070; 167.075 and 167.080 ORS, and the Council finds that it is necessary in the public: inter.-est to prescribe license fees for such activities commensurate with the burden by such activities cast upon the public. Section That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 70-118 be, and the same is, :ereby amended to read as follows: "4; Each trade, shop, business, occupation, profession or calling listed on the schedule hereto attached and captioned ''Business License Classifications" which by this reference is hereby made a part hereof, are hereby required to to licensed and the license fee set forth opposite each classification on said schedule is hereby adopted as the gppli^_able business license fee for each such clacoification to be paid annually to the City, except where said schedule otherwise provides, and the fees thus prescribed shall be due and payable as in this ordinance provided."
