t AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONE CHANGE WITH RESPECT TO THE LANDS OF
Garfield Hubble and Ardath Hubble in Section 10, T2S, R1W, W.M.
TIGARD, WASHINGTON COUNTY., OREGON
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described lands, by action of the
City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, pursuant to the Zoning
Code of said City, have heretofore been limited in the use to whose
uses permitted by said Code, under, and have been classified and
zoned for A-2 (Multi-family Residential), and
WHEREAS, pursuant ?rescribed procedures, the owners of
said lands have applied to L..e City of Tigard for reclassificat`.on of
said property and change of zone thereof to permit the use thereof for C-4
(Neighborhood Coxmiiereia.l) purposes, and said application has been duly pub-
licized and public hearing held by the City planning Commission on
October 20, 1970, after due and legal notice; and

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended approval
of ,said zone change to the City Council, and due and legal notice of
City Council hearing having been giver, by publication in the Tigard
Times, and the City Council having heard same at its regular sheeting

of November 9, 1970 and the Council finding that no public
detriment will result from granting of said petition, and that it is
;i in the public interest that said zone change be approved, and the
lands re-zoned from A-•2 (Multi-family Residential) to C-4 (Neighborhood
Conunercial),
NOW, TEERzFORE,
p THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the £o.inwaing described lands be, and the same are
hereby, zoned as C-4 for use in accordance with the C-4
(Neighborhood Co=iercial) classification cf the Zoning Code of the City of
Tigard, wnch Zoning Code with respect t,: the C-4
classification is by reference herein made a part hereof:

Section 2: Thia ordinance shall be effective on the 31st day after

Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Sectioa 10 and running
thence South, along the East line of said section, a distance of
660 feet, more or less, to an iron pipe; thence West 589.?0 feet
to an iron roc: and true point of beginning of the ;parcel herein
described; thence continuing West from said point of beginning
357,12 feet to the center line of Taylor Bridge Road (an iron. rod
was set 48.22 feet East of said center line) ; thence North 33° 57'
East 238„58 feet along the orenter lire of said Taylor Bridge Road
to a point; thence South 65 38' East 311.56 feet to an iron rod

Geed Records of Washington County, Oregon; said certain portion
being the remainder of said Lot 8 after a certain Contract of Sale
to the Oregon Foundation, Inc., recorded December 30th, 1964, Beed
Records of Washington County, Oregon, which describes 'therein certain
access and roadway rights as appurtenances to and effecting said
Westerly, 222.0 feet of said Lot 8, in Book 535, in Page 663.
