section 5: Inasmuch as the hearing of the petition for annexation
of the lands herein described should be conducted with
the least possible delay, an emergency is hereby declared to exist,
and it is declared to be necessary for the peace, health and safety
of the City of Tigard that this ordinance become effective upon its
passage by the Council and signature by the Mayor.
PASSED: By the Council, by unanimous vote of all Cou::cil-members
present, after being read three times by number and

EXHIBIT "A"
The lands of Conrad E. Anderson, Irene S. Anderson, Carl Perry,
Gloria Mae Perry, and the State of Oregon, being located in
Section 35, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian,
Washington County, Oregon, and more particularly described as
follows:
I
Beginning at the southwest corner of lot 5, Ashbrook Farm,
a subdivision of record in Washington County, Oregon, said point
of beginning being the northeast corner of that tract of land
described in deed to Conrad E. Anderson, et ux, recorded in Book
254, Page 793, Deed Records of said county; running thence south
880 10' west along the south line of said lots 4 and 5 and an
extension thereof 850 feet, more or less, to a paint on center
line of county road no. 179 (S.W. Greenburg Road); thence south-
westerly along said centerline 420 feet, more or less, to a point
on the westerly line of the Andrew Wormsborg Tract, recorded in
Volume 201, Page 9, Deed Records of said county; thence south 740
20' east 268.4 feet to an iron Ripe on the east line of said
Wormsborg Tract; thence north 0 20' west al.ortg said east line
150 feet, more or less, to a point on the south line of an ease-
ment described in deed book 433, page 472, deed records of said
county; thence north 880 10' east al-)ng the south line of said
easement 200 feet to a point on the west line of the Gloria Mae
Perry Tract as described in Book 545, Hage 463, said deed records;
thence south 00 20' east along said west line to the southwest
corner of said Perry Tract; thence north 520 08' east along the
southerly line of the abandoned Oregon Electric Railroad right-
of-way to the southeast corner of said Perry Tract; thence north
00 20' west to the south boundary line of that portion conveyed
to the State of Oregon, by and through its State highway Conmis-
sion, by deeds recorded in Book 449, Page 12, and Bonk 514, Page
239, said deed records; thence easLerlv along said south line tv
its intersection with the southerly line of the abandoned Oregon
Electric Railroad right-of-way; thence north 520 08' east along
said southerly line to the intersection of the centerline of
county road no. 1018 (S.W. 95th Avenue); thence northerly along
the said centerline and an extjnsion thereof 358 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning.
