ORDINANCE No. 69 -6
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONE CHANGE WITH RESPECT TO THE LANDS OF
STANDARD INVESTMENT COMPANY in Section 35, T1S, RlWr W.M.
TIGARD, WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described lands, by action of the
City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, pursuant to the Zoning
Code of said City, have heretofore been limited in the use to those uses
permitted by said Code, under, and have been classified and zoned
and
for, R-7 Residential
WHEREAS, pursuant to prescribed procedures, the owners of
said lands have applied to the City of Tigard for reclassification of
said property and change of zone thereof to permit the use thereof
for C-3 (Commercial) purposes, and said application has
hearing held by the city Plannina
been duly publicized and public -
Commission on December 17, 1968 after due and legal notice; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended approval
of said zone change to the city Council, and due and legal-Notice of
city Council hearing having been given by publication in the Tigard
Times, and the City Council having heard same at its regular meeting
of January 13, 1969 , and the Conncil finding that no public
detriment wz resuTom granting of said petition, and that it is e
in the public interest that said zone change be approved, and the lands
re-zoned from R-7 (residential) to C-3 (commercial)
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the following described lands be, and the same are
hereby, zone as C-3 for use in accordance with the
classification of the Zoning Code of
the City of Tigard, which Zoning Code with respect to the _C-3
classification is by reference herein made a part hereof:
Beginning at the S.E. corner of Lot 5 of ASHBROO!. FARM, a
duly recorded subdivision in Washington County, Oregon and running
thence S 880 10' W along the northerly line of that tract of land
conveved to the home Owners Loan Corporation by dead recorded in
Bk I59, p. 591 of Washington County, Oreaon Deed Records, a distance
of 643.8 feat. to a point; thence S 00 201 E parallel with the truest line
of said Home Owners Loan Corporation tract, a distance of 231.5 ft.
to the true place of beginning of the tract herein described: thence
S 88o 10, W 100.0 ft. to a point; thence S_00 20' E parallel with
the West lineofsaid 12 acre tract, a distance of 235.0 feet to
a point; thence N 880 101 E' 100.0 £t. to a point; thence N,00 20` ,
W 235.00 ft. to the true place of beginning, excepting therefrom the
SNe�MPr f This ordinance shall be effective on the 31st day after
its enactment by the City Council of Tigard, Oregon.

being read three times by number and title only,
