Ordinance No. 68-10 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON ORDINANCE No.68-/_ AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONE CHANGE WITH RESPECT TOTHE LANDS OF COMMERCE DEVELOPMENT CO., IN SECTION 35, , > WASHINGTON COUNTY OREGON. WHEREAS, the hereinafter described lands consisting of TRACTS I, II and III, by action of the City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, pursuant to the Zoning Code of said City, have ■ neretorore been limited in use to those uses permitted by said Code Wider, and have been classified and zoned fur, R-1 (Res dent i__l, nd WHEREAS, pursuant to prescribed procedures, the owner of said lands has applied to the City of Tigard for reclassification of said property and change of zone thereof to permit the use thereof for the following purposes: TRACTS I and II: C-3 (Commercial) TRACT ZII: A-2 (Multiple Dwelling) and said application has been duly publicized and public hearing held by the City Planning Commission on January 16, 1968 after due and legal notice; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended approval of said zone changes to the City Council, and due and legal notice of City Council hearing having been given by publication in the Tigard Times, and the City Council having heard same at its regular meeting of February 26, 196", and the Council finding that no public detri- ment will result from granting of said petition, and that it is -in the public interest that said zone changes be approved, and the lands rezoned from R-7 (ResidentlalI �w C-3 f %,-- -reial) for TRACTS I and II, and to A-2 (Multiple Dwelling) for TRACT III; NSW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That the following described lands be, and the same are hereby, zoned as respectively hereinafter indicated for use in decors-_-_ a nwith the C-3 and A-2 classifications of the accordance oning toning the C-3e of te City of and Ah2 classifications,wiscbyLreference cherein madeeat part hereof: TRACT I, zoned for C-3 (Commercial), described as follcws: A tract of land in Section 35, TIS, R1W, W.M., Washington County, Oregon, and being a portion of that tract conveyed to Herbert Olson et ux by deed Book 649 p.240, Washington County Records, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the northerly line of said Olson tract, said point being S74029°East from the Northwest corner of said tract and on the Southeasterly line of Greenburg Road and running thence S74020TEast along the northerly line of said Olson Page' 1 - ORDINANCE No.6$- i�- tract a distance of 125 Peet; thence South 15040'West to a point on the southerly line of said Olson tract; thence S85°58'West along said south line to the South- easterly line of Greenburg Road; thence Northeasterly along the southeasterly line of Greenberg Road to the point of beginning.
