AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONE CHANGE WITH RESPECT TO THE LANDS

` 16AD, WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described lands, by action of the
City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, pursuant to the Zoning
Code of said City, have heretofore been limited in use to those uses
permitted by said cone, under, and have been classified and zoned
for M-4 (Industrial Park Zone) and
WHEREAS, pursuant to prescribed procedures, the owners of
said lands have applied to the City of Tigard for reclassification of
said property and ^.hange of zone thereof to permit the use thereof
for C-3 (General Commercial) purposes, and said application has
been duly publicized and public hearing held uy the City Planning
commission on -__August lra, 1967 after due and leE,al nctice; and
WHEREAS, the City PlannIn; Commission has recommended approval
of said zone change to the City Council, and due and legal notice of
City Council hearing having* been given by publication in the Tigard
Times, and the City Council havinC heard same at its regular meeting
of Aust 28. 1967 _, and the Council finding; that no public
detriment will result from granting- of said petition, and that it is
in the public interest that said zone change approved, and the lands
re-zoned from M-4 (Industrial Park) to C-3 (General Commercial)
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the following described lands be, and the same are
hereby, zoned as C-3 for use in accordance with the
C-3 General Commercial classification of the Zoning Code
of the City of Tigard, which Zoning Code with respect to the C-3
classification 'is by reference herein made a part hereof: _ ��
As sat forth on the attached sheet headed "DESCRIPTION"
by reference made a part hereo:.-
Section 2: This ordinance shAll be effective on the 31st day after
its enactment by the City Council of Tigard, Oregon.
PASSED: By unanimous vote of all Council members present, after
Laing read three times by title only., -this 280 day
of __ unto 1967

Lot 4, VARNS ACRES, Washington County, Oregon, EXCEPTING
therefrom those tracts conveyed to the State of Oregon, by
and through its State Highway Commission by deed recorded
September 15, 1965 in Book 569, page 115, and by deed
recorded June 22, 1966 in Book 605, page 399, Records of
Washington County, Oregon.
Lot 5, VARNS ACRES, Washington County, Oregon EXCEPTING
therefrom that portion conveyed to State of Oregon, by and
through its State Highway Commission by deed recorded
July 19, 1966 in Book 608, page 350, Records of Washington
County, Oregon.
Lot 6, VARNS ACRES, Washington County, Oregon, EXCEPT that
portion conveyed to the State of Oregon, by and through its
State Highway Commission by deed recorded in Book 550,
page 242, Deed Records of Washington County, Oregon
All of that portion of the North one-half of the Southeast
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 1, Township 2
South, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian, which lies north-
easterly of the Beaverton-Tigard Highway and westerly of the
Baldook freeway as said freeway has been relocated in
Suit No. 27-048 in the Circuit Court for Washington County,
Oregon.
