Ordinance No. 67-48 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON ORDINANCE No.67- 40 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONE CHANGE WITH RESPECT TO THE LANDS Aw OF FARMERS UNDERWRITERS ASSOCIATION IN S.E.1/4 OF SECTIppN 1 T2S R1W W.M., being Tax Lots 1100, 1200, 1300 & Portion of 1400,f51--1b ` 16AD, WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON WHEREAS, the hereinafter described lands, by action of the City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, pursuant to the Zoning Code of said City, have heretofore been limited in use to those uses permitted by said cone, under, and have been classified and zoned for M-4 (Industrial Park Zone) and WHEREAS, pursuant to prescribed procedures, the owners of said lands have applied to the City of Tigard for reclassification of said property and ^.hange of zone thereof to permit the use thereof for C-3 (General Commercial) purposes, and said application has been duly publicized and public hearing held uy the City Planning commission on -__August lra, 1967 after due and leE,al nctice; and WHEREAS, the City PlannIn; Commission has recommended approval of said zone change to the City Council, and due and legal notice of City Council hearing having* been given by publication in the Tigard Times, and the City Council havinC heard same at its regular meeting of Aust 28. 1967 _, and the Council finding; that no public detriment will result from granting- of said petition, and that it is in the public interest that said zone change approved, and the lands re-zoned from M-4 (Industrial Park) to C-3 (General Commercial) NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That the following described lands be, and the same are hereby, zoned as C-3 for use in accordance with the C-3 General Commercial classification of the Zoning Code of the City of Tigard, which Zoning Code with respect to the C-3 classification 'is by reference herein made a part hereof: _ �� As sat forth on the attached sheet headed "DESCRIPTION" by reference made a part hereo:.- Section 2: This ordinance shAll be effective on the 31st day after its enactment by the City Council of Tigard, Oregon. Lot 5, VARNS ACRES, Washington County, Oregon EXCEPTING therefrom that portion conveyed to State of Oregon, by and through its State Highway Commission by deed recorded July 19, 1966 in Book 608, page 350, Records of Washington County, Oregon.
