ORDINANCE No.67- 41
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING Section 10, Chapter
VIII (Parking Regulations) of ORDINANCE No.66-20 PROHIBITING PARKING
WITHIN DESIGNATED AREAS WITHIN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF:
S. W. PACIFIC HIGHWAY (99-W)
S. W. Highway #217
S. W. Main Street
S. W. Burnham Street
S. W. Commercial Street
AND REPEALING ORDINANCES No. 67-1 and No. 67-37•
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That Ordinance No.67-1 and Ordinance No.67-37, be, and
they are, hereby repealed, effective with the effect-
ive date of this Ordinance.
Section 2: That Section 10 of Chapter VIII (Parking Regulations)
of Ordinance No.66-20 be, and the same is, hereby
Emended to read as follows:
"Section 10: No person shall at any time park or leave
standing a vehicle of any kind or character, whether
motorized or not, and whether attended or unattended,
within the following defined portions of public streets
and highways within the City of Tigard:
(a) Within the improved,portion of the right-of-way
as bonded by the curb lines, on each side of S.W. Pacific
Highway (99-W), extending from the intersection of the
centerline of S. W. Gaarde Street and the same extended to
the Southeasterly curb of S. W. Pacific Highway, North-
easterly to the Northeasterly corporate limits of the
City of Tigard.
(b) Within the East half of the right-of-way of
S. W. Highway #217 lying South of the intersection of the
southerly property line of S.W.Pacific Highway (99-W) with
the easterly property line of S.W.Highway #217, and north
of the most southerly access driveway of Knauss Chevrolet
Company appurtenant to Lot 5, Tigard Road Gardens, Wash- y
ington County, Oregon, and
Within the East half of the right-of-way of

with the North right-of-way line of S. W. Pacific Highway

(c) On the southeasterly side of S. W. Main Street
within fourteen (14) feet northeasterly of the intersection
thereof with S. W. Burnham Street.

(d) Within that portion of the Northeasterly half
of S. W. Burnham Street lying within fifteen (15) feet
of the intersection of the northeasterly line of S.W.
Burnham Street with the southeasterly line of S.W.Main Street.
(e) Within the right-of-way of S. W. Commercial
Street extending from the intersection thereof with
S. W. Highway #217 northerly to a line being a westerly
extension of the North line of that certain real property
conveyed by the Tigard Water District and C. E. Janoe and
Emma Janoe to Tigard Rural Fire Protection District as
described in deeds of record in Book 571 p.290 and Book
571 p.289, Deed Records of Wathington County, Oregon,
upon which premises is now located the Tigard Fire Station
of the Tualatin Rural Fire Protection District."
Section 3: This ordinance shall become and be effective on and
after the 31st day after its passage by the Council
and approval by the Mayer.
PASSED: By the Council, by unanimous vote of all Council members
present after being read three times by number and
title, this 1-4th day of July, 1967.
