AN ORDINANCE AYNE`:INO TO THECITY OF TTGPJ.:D �S.i?DS OF
- HOWARD S. GASS and MARGARET A. GASS, being part of Lots 24,
2; & 26, North Tigardville Addition, WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON
WHE^.T33.S, the owners of the hereinafter described lands have
petitioned the City of Tigard to annex the same to !;'.e City, and have
filed concent to said annexation with the City Recorde, under date of
the 9th day of January , 1967; and
WFER_AS, the lands hereinafter described and proposed to be
annexed are contiuous to the corporate limits of the City of Tigard
and are not within t:1e corporate limits of any city and lie wholly
within the County of Washington, State of Oregon, an6 are, in all re-
spects, qualified to be annexed to the City of `PiCard; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No.67—3 duly enactcd by the City Council
of Tigard on Lhe 9th day of January 1917, t`:: City Council of

the registered voters of the City of Tigard, and did by said ordinance
set Monday the 13 day of- February __, 1.967, at the hour of 8:00
o'clock p.m. at the City Hall, Tigard, Oregon, ac the time and place
for public hearing by the Council of said annexation proposal; and

davit of said publication is or. file herein and that notice cf said
hearing was further given by Fostino in four public and conspicuous
places within the City of Tigard for a like period and that the affi-
davit of the City Recorder with respect to said postir.S is on file
herein; and
WHEREAS, the hearing on said proposal teas only and regularly
held at the Cit; Ball, City of Tigard, on February 1S , 1967 at the
hour of 8:00 O'clock P.M., whereat all interested persons and registered
voters of the City desiring to be heard, were heard, and said hearing
was duly closed; and
WHEREAS, it appears that all statutory requ�lrcments for the
annexation of tho following described area to the CAty of Tigard have
received full compliance and that said area may be- lawfully annexed to
the City of Tigard,
1701.1, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That all of the following described lands be, and the same
are, hereby annexed to the City of Tigard, and the bound-
aries of the City of Tigard be, and they are, hereby extended to
include the following described lands within the said boundaries:

That part of Lots 24, 25 and 26, in NORTH TIGARDVILLE ADDITION,
Was4ington County, Oregon, as shown by the recorded Plat thereof
being in the East half of the Northeast quarter of. Section 3, and
the West half of the Northwest quarter of Section 2, Township 2
South, Range 1, West of the Willamette Meridian, Washington County,
Oregon; and bounded by a line: Fieginning at ai iron pipe in the
West line of Lot 25, which is 7.35$ chains from the Southwest corner
thereof and running thence North O°10' East 6.485 chains (428.0)
feet to an iron pipe in the West line of Lot 24; thence North 45o
33' East 10,345 chains (682.8 feet) to a point in the road from
which an iron pipe bears South 45033' West 18.1 feet distant; thence
in' said road South 74o56' East 3.693 chains (243.7 feet); thence
OF South 57°54' East 1.95 chains (128.7 feet) to a point from which
an iron pipe bears South 47°02' West 20.7 feet distant; thence
South 47002' West 17.244 chains (1138.1 feet) to the point of
beginning;
EXCEPT that portion annexed to the City of Tigard, on
March 14, 1966 by Ordinance No.66-10.
Section 2: That the Recorder of the City of Tigard be, and she is
hereby directed, within 10 days from the date hereof,
to make and submit to the Secretary of State of Dreyon:
a. A certified copy of this ordinance of annexation
b. A certified copy of the statement of consant of
the landowners in the territory annexed
C. A certified copy of Ordinance No-67- 3 whereby the
City Council declared that no election is required
in the City,
and to file herein the acknowledgment of the Secretary of State of
said filing.
Section 3s That the Recorder of the City of Tigard be, and she is
hereby directed, within 10 days from •.::e`ciate hereof, to
file with each of the Department of Revenue and Taxation and the
Department of Records and Elections of the County of Uasningtor., the
following:
a. A certified copy of this ordinance of annexation
b. A certified copy of Ordinance No.67. 3 ,
and that a copy of this Ordinance be directed to the OfOice of the
Washington County Surveyor,
and to file herein the acknowledgments of said Departments of said
-filings.'
Section 4. The annexation hereby ordained shall be affective on the
date of filing with the Secretary of State of Oregon the
copies of proceedings as in Section 2 hereof required to be filed,
and from and after said date the hereinabove described and annexed
territory snall be and remain a part of the City of -•'_Bard.
PASSED: By the Council, by unanimous vote of all Council-member3
present, after being read three times by title only,
