AN ORDINANCE SETTING HEARING WITH RESPECT TO THE PROPOSED
WITHDRAWAL FROM THE TIGARD WATDR DISTRICT BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TIGARD OF ALL THAT PART OF THE TIGARD WATER DISTRIOI
LYING AND BEING WITHIN THE PRESENT CORPORATE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY
OF TIGARD, AND DIRECTING GIVING OF NOTICE OF SAID HEARING
WHEREAS, a part less than the entire area of the TIGARD
WATER DISTRICT has heretofore been incorporated in or annexed to
the City of Tigard in accordance with law; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 222.520 to 222.524 Oregon Re-
vised Statutes the Council of the DISTRICT Tigard, Oregonart proposes
to withdraw from the TIGARD
TIGARD WATER DISTRICT lying and being within the present corporate
boundaries of zhe City of Tigard; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section _1: That a public hearing on the question of the withdrawal
from the Tigard Water District all that part of the
Tigard Water District lying and being within the present corporate

ies of the City of Tigard, be, and the same is hereby, called
to be held in the Council chamber of the City,of Tigard, at the City
of October, 1966
Hall, Main Street, Tigard, Oregon, on the

at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day,

place the City Council of Tigard will hear objections to the proposed
withdrawal and will thereafter determine whether such withdrawal is
for the best interests of the City.
f Section 2: That the City Recorder of the City of Tigard be, and

safety of the people of the City of Tigard that the pro-
