ORDINANCE No. 66- 27
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONE CHANGE WITH RESPECT TO THE LANDS
OF 14ALTER LeROY STAHL (co-owners Pollock & Watkins) BEING TAX LOT
#150 - bCA, KNOWN AS 7705 S. W. PFAFFLE ROAD, TIGARD, WASH-
INGTON COUNTY, OREGON
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described lands, by action of the
City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, pursuant to the Zoning Code
of said City, have heretofore been limited in use to those uses per-
mitted by said Code, under, and 'have been classified and zoned for,
R-5 (Residential) , and the south 200 feet C-2 (Commercial); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to prescribed procedures, the owner of
said lands has applied to the•Cixty of Tigard for reclassification
of said property and change of zone thereof to permit the use thereof
for A-2 (Multiple Dwelling) purposes, and said application has been
duly publicized and public hearing held by the City Planning Commis-
sion on May 17, 1966, after due and legal notice; and.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended approval
of said zone change to the City Couneil, and due and legal notice
of City CouneilPsaring having been given by publication in the Tigard
Times, and the City Council having heard same at its regular meet-
ing of June 13, 1966, and the City Council finding that no public
detriment will result from granting of said petition, and that it
is in the public interest that said zone change be approved, and
the property re-zoned from R-5 (Residential) and C-2 (Commercial)
to A-2 Multiple Dwelling;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the lands described on the attached sheet headed
"DESCRIPTION" (by reference made a part hereof) be,
and the same are, hereby zoned as A-2 Multiple Dwelling, for use in
accordance with the A-2 Multiple Dwelling classification of the
Zoning Code of the City of Tigard, and subject to all conditions,
limitations and requirements ttrr f, which Zoning Code with respect
to the A-2 classification is by reference herein made a part hereof.
Section 2: This ordinance shall be effective on the 31st day after
its enactment by the City Council of Tigard, Oregon.

Beginning at a point 1887.60 feet South 890 East and 290 feet
South 0° 11' West of the northwest corner of the George Ri•:hardson
D.L.C. in Section 36, T1S, R1W, W.M., being also the southwest
corner of a tract to Oscar Sidler and Grace Sidler, by deed re-
corded November 28, 1911, in Deed Book 90 page 45, running thence
South 0° 11' West 1054 feet following the east line of the tract
sold by us to Fannie L. Hamilton to a point on the north line _
of a private roadway, thence following the north line of said
roadway South 86° 17' East 206.6 feet; thence North 00 11' East
parallel with the east line of said Hamilton tract 1062.3 feet
to a point on the south line of said Sidler tract; thance North
890 West along the south line of said Sidler Tract 206.0 feet
to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT that tract conveyed by deed book 279 page 648, as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of the George Richardson D.L.C.
situated in Section 36, T1S, R1W, W.M., and running thence South
890 00' East 1887.60 feet to a point inthenortherly boundary
line of said D.L.C.; thence South 00 11' West 1204.0 feet to an
iron pipe, said iron pipe marking the true point of beginning of
this description; thence continuing South 0° 1.1' West 140.00
feat to an iron pipe set in the northerly right-of-way line of
county road No. 975- (Pfaffle Road); thence following said right-
of-sway line South 89° 17' East 85.01 feet to a point; thence
North 0' 11' East 141.34 feet to a point; thence North 890 49'
West 95.00 feet to the true point of beginning of this description.
