ORDINANCE NO. 64 -
AN ORDINANCE RE-SETTING HEARING WITH RESPECT TO PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF A PORTION OF LOT 1,AMENDED PLAT OF NORTH TIGARDVILLE
ADDITION.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 64 - /Z was duly passed by the
City Council of Tigard, Oregon, on t"�►e-17th day of August, 1964,
setting Monday, the 14th day of September, 1964, at the hour of

No. 64-W/2 prescribed was not given in the time and manner
directed, ani the City Council has heretofore informally re-
scheduled the said hearing for Monday, the 28th day of September,
1964, at the hour of 8 p.m., and notice of said hearing as required
by statute has been further directed;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 64 - /2 entitled
AN ORDINANCE SETTING HEARING WITH RESPECT TO PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF A PORTION OF LOT 1, AMENDED PIAT 0: 14ORTH TIGARDVILLE
ADDITION," be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2: That Monday, the 28th day of September, 1964,
at the hour of 8 p.m., in the Council Chambers,
City Hall, Main Street, City of Tigard, Oregon, be and the
same are hereby fixed as the date, time and place for a
public hearing by the City Council of the petition of
RICHARD LINDNER and JOY J. LINDNER for annexation of the
hereinafter-described lands ba the City of Tigard,' and all
registered voters of the City may appear at said tt me and
place and be heard on the question of said annexation."
Section 2: That the City Recorder of the City of Tigard be and
he is hereby further directed to give notice of said
hearing at the time and in the manner provided by Section 3 of
Ordinance No. 64
Section 3: That the area affected by Ordinance No. 64 - /z and
by Hits amendatory ordinance is described as fro Saws:
3 A portion of Lot 1, North Tigardville Addition, Amended
Plat, Washington County, Oregon, more particularly des-
cribed as follows;
Beginning at the Northeast comer of said Lot �, and running

thence West along the North line thereof 175.80 feet to the
Northeast corner of that certain tract conveyed to Joseph
Yocum et ux recorded June 23, 1945, Book 245, page 277,
Wasbivaton County Deed Records; thence South along the East
linea said Yocum Tract 612.5 feet to a point; thence

continuing South along the East line of said Yocum Traci-
443.85 feet to an iron pipe in the Southerly line of said
Lot 1; thence Easterly along the Southerly line of said
Lot 1 to the Southeast corner thereof; thence North along
the East line of said Lot 1 to the point of begii.ning.
Section 4: That the informal action of the City Council re-scheduling
sa ear ng heretofore taken, and all noticee heretofore published
and posted with respect to said hearing be and the same are hereby

Section 5: Inasmuch as it is for the benefit of the City of Tigard
and those interested in the petition for annexation
that this matter be heard with the least possible delay, andiit is

that this ordinance become effective-with�the least possible delay,
an emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance shall become
effective up6n its passage by 1e City Council and approval by the
Mayor.
