AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON, IANDS
COMPRISING t PORTION OF LOT 10 AMENDED PLAT OF NORTH TIGARDVIIXF
ADDITION, IN SECTION 2, T2S, Rk., W.M., WASHINGTON COUNTY,
OREGON
WHEREAS, a petition for the annexation of the hereinafter

Council of the City of Tigard on the 27th day of July, 1964; and
WHEREAS, all the owners of the said lands or any portion
thereof by said petition have consented to the annexation of said
area to the City of Tigard; and
WHEREAS, the area hereinafter described is contiguous to the
City of Tigard and is wholly within the County of Washington and
none of said area is included within the boundaries of any other
incorporated city; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 64-11 duly passed by the City
Council of the City of Tigard on the 27th day of July, 1964, the
City Council of the City of Tigard did elect to dispense with
submitting the question of annexation of said area to the regis-
tered voters, and a hearing was called to be held on the 17th day
of August, 1964 at 8 p.m. at the City Hall on Main Street in the
City of Tigard, with respect tD said petition for the annexation
of the hereinafter described area; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was given by publication
once each week for two successive weeks, or three publishing in
all, prior to said hearing in the Tigard 'Dimes, a newspaper of
general circulation in the City of Tigard, and by posting notice
of said hearing in four public places within the City of Tigard,
as more fully appears from the affidavits of publication and
posting in the records and files of the City of Tigard; and

WHEREAS, a hearing with respect to said petition for annexa-
tion was duly ani regularly held, at the regular meeting of the
(" City Council on August 17, 1964 at 8 p.m., in the City Hall
on Main Street in the City of Tigard, whereat the owners of said
premises, JAMS WILLOCK and BETTY M. WILLOCK, appeared by agent
in favor of said annexation, and no one appeared in opposition to
said annexation; ani
WHEREAS, after due deliberation, the City Cou:.ci1 c= th= �
yiry of T4anrd; in regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of

August, 1964, duly passed a motion favoring the annexation of the
hereinafter described area;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the following-described lands of JAMES WILIAM
and BETTY M. WILLOCK be, and the same are hereby annexed
to the City of Tigard, Oregon, and the boundaries of the City of
Tigard are hereby extended to include the following described lands:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 10, Amended Plat of
North Tigardville Addition, Washington County, Oregon, thence
East along the North line of said Lot 10 to the Southeast
cc--ner of Lot 15, Gr enburg Heights Addition, the same
being also the Northeast corner of Lot 100 Amended Plat
of North Tigardville Addition, thence South along the
East line of said Lot 10 to the line marking the corporate
boundary of the City of T igard, thence with the corporate
boundary of the City of Tigard as the same meanders along
Fanno Creek within said Lot 10, Amended Plat of North
Tigardville Addition, to the intersection of the corporate
limits of the City of Tigard with the West boundary of said
Lot 10, thence North alor_g the West boundary of said Lot 10
to the point of beginning, it being intended ke reby to
describe all that portion of Lot 10, Amended Plat of North
Tigardville Addition, Washington County, Oregon, not hereto-
fore included within the corporate limits of the City of
Tigard.
Section 2: That the Recorder of the City of Tigard be, and he is
F hereby, directed to make and submit to the Secretary
1 of State:
(1) A copy of this Ordinance of annexation,

(2) A copy of the statement of consent of the landowners
of the territory annexed, to-wit: the said petition
for annexation containing said consent.
(3) A copyo£ Ordinance No. 64-11 whereby the City Council
of the City of Tigard dispensed with submitting the
question of annexation to the voters of the City of
Tigard.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be effective on the date of
filing with the Secretary of State of the abstract is
Section 2 hereof required to be filed, and from and after said
date the hereinabove described and annexed territory shall be and
remain a part of the City of Tigard.

being read first in full and then by title, this
