ORDINANCE N0. 64 -
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUppLENMNTING ORDINANCE No. 63 - 2,
"BUILDING CODE" - REGULATING THE MOVING OF BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES
FROM OUTSIDE TIM CORPORATE LIMITS OF TIGARD TO WITHIN SAID LIMITS
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:

"Section 3 (a) No building ed

of the City oil- -- or occupancy for any purpose,for the purpose of locating same on
any lot or tracturpose, unless an
application and permit in the form prescribed by the City
of Tigard shall be first filed with the City and a moving
permit issued by the City Building Inspector.
(b) No moving permit shall be issued by the
City Building Inspector to authorize the
locating on any lot or tract within the corporate limits
of the City of Tigard of any building or structure proposed
to be moved from outside the corporate limits of the City
to within the corporate limits of the City, unless the
application herein provided shall have been filed, the
moving permit fee paid, and the said Inspector shall have
determined from a personal inspection that such building
or structure proposed to be brought within the City shall
be constructed in conformity with the Building Code of the
City of Tigard, including all structural requirements,
electrical installations,plumbing installations and other
features thereof.
(c) All buildings or structures relocated on
any lot or tract within theCity Tigard
from any location outside the City of Tigard, a
be
established in strict conformitywith the Building Code of
the City of Tigard and shall be subject to,the inspections
required by the Building Code, and same shall not be occupied
for any purpose until the standards prescribed by the Building
Code shall have been met.
(d) There shall be collected from each applicant
for a building permit at the time of or
prior to the issuance of the permit the moving permit fee
' of $20.00, which shall include two inspections by the City
Building Inspector, provided that for each additional inspec-
tion in excess of two by the City Building Inspector, the
permittee shall pay the additional sum of $5.00."

Section 2: All provisions of the Building Code of the City of
Tigard as adopted by Ordinance No. 63-2, shall have
equal force and effect with respect 'Lo buildings moved from outside
the city limits and relocated on any lot or tract within the city
limits, to the same extent as for new construction within the City.
Section 3: It is hereby declared that an emergency exists and
that the immediate enactment of this ordinance is
necessary for the presei=vation of the peace, health and safety of
the City of Tigard, to prevent erection of sub-standard structures
within the City, and this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon its passage by the Council and its approvalyby the
Mayor.
