ORDINANCE N0. 63-
AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING THE MODE OF CHARGING PARKXNG
ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS; PRESCRIBING REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLAINT FOR
PARKING VIOLATION; AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR PARKING VIOLATIONS
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: (A) In all prosecutions for Viv t:on of motor vehicle
parking ordinances in the City of Tigard, Oregon,
it shall be sufficient to charge the defendant by an unsworn written
notice clearly stating:
a. The date, place and nature of the charge
b. The time and place for defendant's appear-
ance in court
c. The name of the arresting officer
d. The license number of the vehicle
(B) The notice provided for in subsection (AX of this
section shall either be delivered to the defendant
or placed in a conspicuous place on the vehicle involved in the
violation. The notice shall serve as the complaint in the case.
in all other respects the procedure now provided
-
by the laws of the State of Oregon in such cases shall be followed
and are hereby incorporated herein by reference to the same force
and effect as if herein set forth in full.
Section 2 Any violation of the provisions of, or failure or
neglect to comply with, any rules or regulations
declared in Ordinances 62-21 and 62-22 passed by the City Council
of the City of Tigard on the 12th day of Novesber ' 1462, is punish-
able upon conviction by a fine of not more than $b5.90 or by im-
prisonment in the municipal or county jail for not more than 5 days.
Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective on and after the
31st day after final passage by the City Council`
of the City of Tigard, Oregon.
