Detail 2/A4.1 has been revised to clarify the suspension and bracing for the suspended sheetrock ceiling. Additionally, structural calculations and details are enclosed. Please note that the sheetrock portion of the ceiling is less than 1000sf, and is bounded by braced bulkheads, so horizontal restraint wire and rigid bracing are not required. 2. Details 5/A4.1 and 6/A4.1 have been revised to clarify the suspension and bracing of the storefront soffit. Additionally, structural calculations and details are enclosed. 3. The estimated permit valuation of the project is $105,000. Stories: 1 Name: Body Shop Sprinklers: Yes The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC) 2007 edition; 2007 Oregon Fire Code. Please respond to conditions below. 1) Provide calculations and construction details (including seismic bracing details for non full height partitions) for all walls and sheetrock ceilings. Note: The roof structure may be approximately 30' above the finished floor. OSSC 106.1 2) Please provide calculations and construction details for the soffits and storefront construction. Every structure, and portion thereof, including non structural components that are permanently attached to structures and their supports and attachments, shall be designed and constructed to resist the effects of earthquake motions in accordance with ASCE 7 as modified by Section 1613.7. The seismic design category for a structure is permitted to be determined in accordance with Section 1613 or ASCE 7. OSSC 1613.1 3) Please provide a permit valuation based on the total work being performed. Permit valuations shall include total value of work, including materials and labor, for which the permit is being issued, such as electrical, gas, mechanical, plumbing equipment, flooring, ceilings and any fixture attached to the building. If, in the opinion of the building official, the valuation is underestimated on the application, the permit shall be denied, unless the applicant can show detailed estimates to meet the approval of the building official. Final building permit valuation shall be set by the building official. When responding, provide an itemized letter stating in what way each numbered issue has been addressed in the revision. When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the enclosed City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of Tigard in tracking and processing the documents.
