According to RI06.1.1, construction documents should be of sufficient clarity to indicate that the location, nature, and extent of work complies with the provisions of this code and acceptable engineering practice. In order to satisfy this code provision, the following items require your attention in order to complete this plan review: 1. Minimum post bracing and connection should be per Figure R502.9, for posts not supporting the hot tub. 2. The floor dead load exceeds the limitations of R301.2.2.2.1, please provide engineered design for the loads imposed on the deck, the footings, the ledger connection, and have the engineer review the entirety of the plan for structural adequacy. When submitting revisions or additional information, please attach a copy of the enclosed City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal.
