After a careful review of the 2007 Oregon Fire Code, Chapter 23 High -Piled Combustible
Storage it is concluded that no special fire protection and life safety requirements are
needed.
The materials stored is plastic sheets typically PVC, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, and
Polycarbonate sheets and these materials are listed as a Group A plastics (Section
2303.7.1) which are classified as a High Hazard commodities (Section 2303.6).
According to Table 2306.2 on page 230 - because the total area of the high -piled storage
is under 500 square feet, the only requirement would be a maximum pile dimension of 50
feet. Both of these requirements are met.
