IntelliKnight addressable photoelectric smoke detectors are the clear choice for commercial settings where smoldering fires are a threat. In addition to accurately detecting a smoldering fire, each SD505 -APS photoelectric detector has a unique address, which is recognized by the IntelliKnight panel. No precious seconds are wasted in determining location of an alarm. The SD505 -APS compensates automatically for contamination in the environment. And detector testing is simple —even from a remote site. Like other IntelliKnight detector models, the SD505 -APS offers a low profile for pleasing aesthetics. The IntelliKnight family of detectors has been designed to use a common base, Model SD505 -6AB, allowing complete application and placement flexibility. Combine all this with the features you've come to expect from Silent Knight smoke detectors —easy installation, stable operation, RF /transient protection, and vandal- resistant locking —and it adds up to a flexible solution for all your fire protection needs. FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS '.ADAj CSFM 7135 - 0785:113 SERIES MB MOTOR BELLS Description Wheelock's Series MB motor bells provide a better engineered motor bell for fire and life safety alarm systems. The Wheelock Series MB bells include higher dBA, low current draw, built -in trimplate for semi -flush mounting, low frequency aluminum shells, and low RFI noise. The motor for Series MB bells is a durable, high torque, permanent magnet motor selected for its high performance and long life. These DC vibrating Series MB motor bells are offered in 6" and 10" shell sizes in both 12 and 24 VDC models. '"1 Series RSSP Non - Sync/Sync retrofit plates are used in conjunction with the Series MB Motor Bell when combination appliances are required. These 15, 15/75, 30, 75 and 110 candela strobe plates are designed for SERIES Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) applications while meeting or MB exceeding the latest requirements of NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm Code), ANSI 117.1 (American National Standard for Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities), and UL Standard 1971 (Signaling Devices for the Hearing Impaired). These strobe products, when properly specified and installed in accordance with NFPA/ANSI Standards, can • provide the Equivalent Facilitation allowed under ADA Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG General Section 2.2) by meeting or exceeding the 'illumination which results from ADA's strobe intensity guidelines of 75 K , I candela at 50 feet. This is an illumination of 0.030 lumens per square foot. ? °` By specifying and installing Series RSSP Non - Sync /Sync strobe plates, along with the Series SM or DSM Sync Modules, synchronized strobe flash is achieved. Synchronized strobes can eliminate possible restrictions on the number of strobes in the field of view. Wheelock's synchronized strobes offer an easy way to comply with ADA recommendations concerning photosensitive epilepsy.
