Dear Robert,
You requested some "final documents" for this address for business purposes,
and I can provide that to some degree.
The permit for the show home (MST2005- 00246) specifically includes the
temporary use approval (TUP2005- 00015) from the Planning Department.
There is some restrictive language in both the MST and TUP permits. First, the
temporary use as a sales office is limited to one year from date of issue. Second,
and the reason you don't have a certificate of occupancy, is that the structure
can't be finaled until the garage area is returned to code compliant use as a
garage rather than offices. There is some remodeling to do for that to be ready
for approval as you know.
Please feel free to present this letter as Tigard's confirmation of substantial
completion. We have no issues with the structure at this time and are waiting
for your request for inspection as a single family residence with garage.
