The insurance value of the work will be $256,000.00
The barrier removal improvement plan will include an ADA parking space,
ADA upgrade of the restroom, and the changing of lever handle at the man

The H -2 occupancy will not exist with a UL rated paint booth. But rather the
occupancy type should be F -2 or something similar. There is to be a f -2
space next to the fire repair space and nothing on the other side.
The floor above is a mezzanine except for a small, enclosed office area at the
head of the stairs. This area is approximately 245 sq. ft. The mezzanine area
is about 900 + sq. ft. in a basic floor area of 3200 sq. ft.

MEMORANDUM
CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
00000 IML=Ma
TO: Ron Sellards
FROM: Bob Poskin j.

Subject: Fire Restoration —12155 SW Grant
In reviewing the restoration plans, the following items require your attention:
1. Provide the insurance value of the work
2. Provide a barrier removal improvement plan.
3. This is an H -2 occupancy. In order to determine occupancy separation requirements, I need to
know the occupancy groups on both sides of this space.
4. The floor above is not a mezzanine; rather, it's a floor, requiring two exits, set apart half the
diagonal distance.
5. You indicate stairs to the roof area of the top of the paint storage room, this requires a design
factor of 250# per square foot.
6. The paint storage area requires a 2 -hour occupancy separation, to include the ceiling assembly,
and a 11/22-hour door. Provide a detail.
7. Based on the floor space as shown on the drawings, the maximum allowable area setout in
Table 5B for a 5N building is 2500 Square feet. Provide details on how you intend to meet the
allowable floor area
