The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC)
2004 edition; the Oregon Fire Code 2004 edition and NFPA 72. The submitted plans are
approved subject to the following.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Initiating devices shall be supported independently of their attachment to the
conductor. NFPA 72, 5.4.3
2. Initiating devices shall be installed in a manner that provides accessibility for periodic
maintenance. NFPA 72, 5.4.4
3. Unless tested and listed for recessed mounting, detectors shall not be recessed into the
mounting surface. NFPA 72, 5.5.1
4. Wall mounted appliances shall be based on locating the visible notification appliance
at the halfway distance of the wall. NFPA 72, 7.5.4.1.3
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the
enclosed City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of
Tigard in tracking and processing the documents.

FIRE ALARM DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
Smoke and Heat Detection supervision will be added to the Pre - action Fire Sprinkler System
utilizing a multi -zone F.A.C.P.
The interior horn/strobe will be mounted at 84" to the bottom of the device.
All audible devices will sound in the ANSI temporal pattern.
All strobe flashes will be synchronized where applicable.
Primary power to the panel shall be 110 VAC utility power with a 24VDC 7aH battery back -up.
All NAC circuits, which will be wired with 14 gauge FPLR/CMR red cable.
Monitoring will be provided through Alarm Central Station, a U.L. listed monitoring company

All installation will be done according to N.F.P.A. 72 standard.
Work will be performed in a neat and professional manner. All work will
be performed according to the timeline set.

All equipment will be UL listed and approved for the application.
