INFORMATION SUMMARY .
At the .dune 21, 1986, City Council/Planning Commission workshop, staff
G; presented some suggestions for transferring land use applications to the
. .'`" Hearings Officer. After discussion, the consensus of the group was. to
transfer subdivision application consideration to the Hearings Officer.
Subdivisions that are

Commission. At the August 5, 1986, Planning Commssion public hearing, the ti

The applicant requested this item be set over to the August 19, 1986,
public hearing. President Moen moved and Commissioner Newman seconded to
set the item 5.1 over to the August 19th Planning Commission hearing.
Motion carried unanimously by Commissioners present.
5.2 PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PD 4-86, SUBDIVISION S 12-86, SENSITIVE LANDS SL 7--86,
ZONE CHANGE ZC 7-86 NPO # 7 — SPECTRUM PROPERTIES, INC.
Request for a Zone Change from R-12 to R-12 PD (Residential, 12 units per
acre, planned development), to subdivide the property (6.38 acres) into 16
lots from 5,000 to 7,000 sq. ft. and for a Sensitive Lands Permit to ' =
construct half street improvements within the 100 year flood plain.
Located: North side of SW North Dakota approximately 360° east of SW
106th Avenue (WCTM 1S1 34DA lo5 100).
Senior Planner Liden explained how this item had been set over from the
July 8th hearing. The six Commissioners where split three to three on
whether to approve or deny the request. Discussion followed
on how to
best proceed. The applicant was not present and staff had not heard from
them.

stated he would be willing to give up a portion of the wall signage
available to him for the free standing sign.

0 Barry Cain, Gramore, Inc., 10308 SW Greenburg Rd. Suite 470, Portland,

the additional sign. He felt the free standing sign would be more
