RE: BOUNDARY CHANGE PROPOSAL NO. 1844 - Annexation of territory to
the City of Tigard.
1844 commenced upon receipt by the Boundary

Commission of a resolution and property owner consents from the City of
Tigard on April 23, 1982 requesting that certain property be annexed to
the city. The resolution and property owner consents meet the require-
merits for initiating a proposal set forth in ORS 199.490, particularly
Section (2) .
Upon receipt of the petition the Boundary Commission published and
posted notice of the public hearing in accordance with ORS 199.463

and depicted on the attached map, be annexed to the City of Tigard as of
the date of approval.

Proposal No, 1844
FINDINGS
On the basis of the study and public hearing, the Commission found that:
l. territory single family,. The Cerrito to be annexed contains one sin le fama.l� dwelling on .35
acre, an estimated population of 2, and is evaluated at $63,800.
2. The property oIr •owners desire annexation to vote on city election issues,
and to receive city police, street maintenance, street lighting and

sewer service. Sewer service is not generally available from U.S.A.

The territory is contiguous to the city on the north, west anc�. partially
on the south. The property is developed and conforms with city, county
and regional planning.
4. Water service is provided by the Tigard Water District and will not
.'.y be affected by annexation to the city.
5. Fire protection is provided by the Tualatin Rural Fire Protection Dis-
trict and mill not be affected by annexation to the city.
6. Other city will such as police, street maintenance, and street
1 lighting, available upon annexation.
REASONS FOR DECISION
On the basis of the Findings the Commission determined that:
1. The property owners desire sewer•and other city services which the city
has available.
2. The proposed annexation is compatible with applicable city, county and
regional planning.
