The nature of this proposal is to establish a greenhouse business devoted to
growing horse plants, seasonal, holiday and beddin g P lants for sale, retail, and whole-
sales on a site of ample room for now and room to grow in the future (i.L ) acres.
This property is also my home as it is important to live close to the greenhouse; it
needs 24 hours attention.
1y decision to purchase this property was made on the basis of N.P.O. 6 meetings
last September;were before annexation into Tigard. 11.P.O. 6 people were saying they
were looking for residential-commerical type zoning and after talking to city planer,
Dick Bolen: he thought it would be a very acceptable type business for this location.
On the strength of these facts I purchased the property and ant now following instructions
from associate planer, John Laws, to ask for a R-.7 zoning with a Conditional Use permit. ,r..
Tigard already has nursery retailers but has no grower-wholesalerTrete ler,
Who can offer plants grown right here in Tigard instead of Florida or Southern Calif-

by building this green house 85 feet back from the road and manaouring, the landscape
